Graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG), Matheus Badaró has a postgraduate degree in Economic Criminal Law from the same institution. Currently, he is studying for a double master’s degree in Evidential Reasoning at the Universitat de Girona and Università degli Studi di Genova. He is a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Ciências Criminais (IBCCrim).
